THE OHIO JAM is Pachyderm's third live album following 2018's AT THE CASTLE and TWO SET THEORY.

This is the first in a series of remastered official re-releases from our live recording archive! We played this show with a three-piece lineup and decided to segue each song into the next, resulting in a really energetic and experimental show. This also was our first show in the state of Ohio, and our last show of summer 2018. Thanks to the venue Westside Bowl!

45 minutes from Youngstown at Kent State University in 1970, National Guard officers open fired on unarmed protesters, killing four. None of the guardsmen were convicted.

An hour away from Youngstown in Cleveland in 2014, 13 year-old Tamir Rice was murdered by police officers while playing with a toy gun. Both officers were later acquitted.

They may not always make the headlines, but the killings haven't stopped, and black and latinx people continue to be killed at a disproportionate rate.
